Oilers Score Five Unanswered Goals to Take Series Lead

The Edmonton Oilers overcame an early deficit to defeat the Dallas Stars 5-3 in Game 1 of the Western Conference Final on Thursday night. The series now shifts to Dallas for Game 2 on Saturday.
The Stars took an early lead with goals from Jamie Benn and Roope Hintz in the first period. However, the Oilers rallied back with four goals in the second period, including two from Connor McDavid and one from Leon Draisaitl. Kailer Yamamoto added an empty-net goal in the third period to seal the win.
Oilers goalie Jack Campbell made 29 saves on 32 shots, while Stars goalie Jake Oettinger stopped 27 of 31 shots. The Oilers will look to take a 2-0 series lead in Game 2 on Saturday.
