Manchester City Women's Football Club (MCWFC) is an English women's football club based in Manchester. The club was founded in 1988 as Manchester City Ladies Football Club and has since become one of the most successful women's football clubs in England. MCWFC currently plays in the FA Women's Super League, the top tier of women's football in England. For the upcoming 2023-2024 season, the team boasts a talented squad of players.Squad Profiles
The MCWFC squad is led by manager Gareth Taylor. Taylor has been with the club since 2020 and has led the team to numerous successes, including winning the FA Cup in 2020 and 2022. Under his guidance, MCWFC will look to continue their success in the upcoming season. The squad includes a number of experienced players, such as goalkeeper Karen Bardsley, defender Alex Greenwood, and midfielder Jill Scott. Bardsley is a veteran of the English national team and has played for MCWFC since 2014. Greenwood is a versatile defender who has been with the club since 2018. Scott is a former England captain and has been with MCWFC since 2013. MCWFC has also signed a number of exciting young players for the 2023-2024 season.
